Biography
I was born in Bilbao in 1978, although I grew up in Valencia since I was 8.
I began making instruments by myself, and after a while, I entered the Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga Music School of Bilbao to study the 3 years career of Stringed Instruments Making.
It was there where I gained great knowledge in the field of construction, given by luthier Javier Guraya Ibarmia and also in physical acoustics, with the physical masters Jesus Alonso Moral and Unai Igartua. I also coursed a seminar on bow nut making with luthier arquetier Frédéric Becker. I've been a student, in addition, in several courses taught by the master Jesús Reolid.
Nowadays I work in my workshop in Valencia, where I build and repair stringed musical instruments. I also work regularly together with luthier Sergi Martí.
